Partnership programs
Even with a steady job, many working families are struggling to make ends meet, and they may not own a home or have bank accounts. Others may be in debt or have bad credit. Many low-income familes are unaware of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and are likely to participate in costly "rapid refund" programs -- the DABC is trying to change this.
Benefit for employers
The DABC wants to help low-income employees (earning $55,000 or less) file their returns for free, get applicable refunds and credits, save tax preparation fees and the cost of refund anticipation loans, and get training about financial well-being. By partnering with DABC, employers can:
- Provide a no-cost benefit to eligible employees.
- Create goodwill by providing an additional sponsored benefit.
- Open employee bank accounts, enabling direct deposit of paychecks.
- Reduce financial stress to make employees feel more secure and be more productive.
The services provided by this benefit will be offered between February and mid-April at the employer's location or at one of our tax sites. Please review more information about our Employer Partnership Program. Then, email us to become one of our partners! We’ll provide you with marketing materials and anything else we can.
